Voyagers Jump Out Early, Hand Mustangs 10-3 Loss
Jun 19, 2026

The Billings Mustangs (21-6) fell behind early and could not recover in a 10-3 loss to the Great Falls Voyagers (12-16) on Friday night at Dehler Park.

Great Falls wasted little time taking control, scoring eight runs in the opening inning. The Voyagers launched three home runs in the frame to build a lead they would never surrender.

Despite the rough first inning, Mustangs starter Cole Calnon settled in and provided length for Billings. The right-hander completed seven innings, allowing ten runs (three earned), while keeping the bullpen fresh.

Jackson Betancourt was the only reliever used by the Mustangs, tossing two innings of scoreless ball.

Billings had opportunities to climb back into the game against Great Falls starter Chance Cox. The best opportunity came when the Mustangs loaded the bases with nobody out in the second inning, but managed just one run in the frame.

Landon Smiddy (3-1) earned the win for the Voyagers with two shutout innings of relief as Calnon (2-1) took the loss for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs and Voyagers continue their three-game series on Saturday night at Dehler Park. Harry Orth is expected to start for Billings against Chris Peguero of Great Falls. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm.
