The Billings Mustangs (9-2) won their fifth straight in a 10-3 victory over the Idaho Falls Chukars (1-10) on Saturday night at Dehler Park.
Harry Orth turned in the longest outing by a Mustangs pitcher this season, allowing just two runs across seven innings to earn his first victory of the year.
Idaho Falls struck first with a run in the top of the second before Billings answered in the bottom half. A.J. Shaver gave the Mustangs a 2-1 lead with a two-run homer, his second long ball in as many games and third of the season.
The home side added to their lead in the third on another two-run shot, this time by Patrick Mills to make it 4-1.
After both teams scored a run in the fifth inning, Adam Cootway broke the game open with a three-run blast to extend the Billings lead to 8-2.
The Mustangs added two more runs in the eighth inning after the Chukars scored once in the top half. Cootway and Charlie Muniz each delivered RBI singles in the frame to cap the scoring and make it 10-3.
Orth (1-0) earned the win for Billings while Josh Leerssen (1-1) suffered the loss for Idaho Falls.
The Mustangs will look to complete a six-game sweep of the Chukars on Sunday afternoon. First pitch is at 1:05 pm.
