The Billings Mustangs (42-11) rallied from an early six-run deficit to beat the Glacier Range Riders 13-8 on Sunday afternoon at Dehler Park, completing a three-game series sweep while extending their winning streak to 11.

Glacier came out strong, scoring five times in the first inning and holding a 6-0 lead after the top of the second.

Billings cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the second on a bases-clearing three-run double by A.J. Shaver. The league's RBI leader was a key catalyst in the Mustangs comeback, driving in five to bring his season RBI total to 81.

The Mustangs scored 12 unanswered runs to take a 12-6 lead entering the eighth inning.

Glacier snapped the scoring drought with a pair of runs in the eighth to trim the lead to 12-8 while bringing the tying run to the on-deck circle. Lucas Hartman entered with two outs and worked out of the jam before completing the four-out save with a scoreless ninth. It is the fifth save of the year for the Mustangs closer in as many tries.

With the win, Billings improved to 6-0 in the second half while completing their third consecutive series sweep.

Following an off-day on Monday, the Mustangs will begin a six-game road trip on Tuesday night with the first of three games against the Range Riders. First pitch from Glacier Bank Park is scheduled for 6:35 pm.
